Windmills
Windmills can make for great country photogaphs. They seem to capture the Australian feeling very well! This was actually the first windmill I have photographed and what a great spot it is! I had passed it countless times on trips out of Perth and then one arvo just decided screw it, Im goin for a drive. Unfortunatly they sky was very boring with not a cloud to be seen. But I know I will revisit at some point with a dramatic storm behind it or something along those lines. I reckon it would look stella.
It was great this night to get out of the city even just momentarily. I was there for a couple hours and got some star trail pics later on. Its a single frame cropped which isnt my favourite thing in the world to do but it was just to windy to stitch this and hope the windmill would line up and the fencing as it too was moving a fair bit. Never the less, I came away something half decent, and have it on my list to revisit and capture under spectacular conditions.
