"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." Ansel Adams

Last monday at work all day i watched this awesome cloud system! it was around all day and im glad it stuck around. I had volleyball but knew that if I packed my gear and raced off after the game i could capture something. I raced out of the car just in time to set up and fire off some shots and this is what i captured. The colours were amazing and the sheer size of the cloud was breathtaking!

  1. That is one mega impressive Mothership of a cloud and I love the processing here. Damn good one mate, wish this was one of mine.

Is the horizon curved or is it just an optical illusion caused by the bright reflection?

  2. Cheers mate! It was awesome! This has had some processing with curves and what not but even the raw files were nice with the dark sepia style colours and the bright pinks.
I will have to look at that in a couple weeks when i get back from bali mate it looked fine to me up close but i will certainly double check knowing your lazer eye precision! šŸ˜‰
I wont come back with nice shots from bali as its a partying holiday and dont wanna risk taking all my gear so i bought a little point and shoot yesterday just so i have a button to keep my shutter finger happy… if it gets a breack from holding a brew! haha
