"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." Ansel Adams

Ouray

My trip across Colorado was amazing! Ouray was particular beautiful and provided a number of great photographs. This is Box Canyon, This is a manual HDR of three different images for certain areas. Since the outside of the canyon was so bright and the inside was quite dark long exposures were used to capture the reflected light.

  1. Must admit it doesn’t work me, that huge blown out hole in the image waterfall is just too overpowering. My eyes gets lost in there 🙂

    • You will get it next time 🙂 Sometimes we desperately want our photos to work because the location was so awesome. But one has to be honest and just look at them and go “no, did not nail it”. That honesty only comes with time though, with distance.
