"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." Ansel Adams

Back in Perth!

Well I got back on Friday at about 2pm. Had a pretty big weekend catching up with friends.

This years trip was the best trip I have ever had!

I have a hand held 3 image stitch taken from the Staten Island ferrie as we were heading back to Manhattan.

Is any one planing on shooting during the week?

Happy Shooting?

  1. So you drowned the “post travel returning to everyday life” blues with alcohol? 😀

Great black and white stitch! It appears stretched at the top though (could be an artistic choice of course). What projection did you choose in PTgui.Rectangular?

No I used cylindrical. I don’t think it’s actually stretched. Looking at the top single image it looks the same.

Yeah it’s good to be back but I do miss it!

    Cheers mate

Welcome back Dylan. Nice B&W treatment on this one. Love those clouds too, could have done with some of those the past couple of weeks.

  12. Thanks Everyone!

Clint I would like to if I can get the car. Mine is no longer so have to use mums these days. Let me inow what your plans are.

Ah James I did the City to Surf one year. Would probably kill me now!

Cheers Christian. Yeah the blog is chuggin along! Maybe I could give away a print at 20,000! Don’t know who would want it… haha

7 years ago this same shot would have had the twin towers in there. I went to ground zero a couple times. It’s an weird feeling knowing you are at the spot you watched on the tv for weeks, and that all the surrounding blocks were covered in dust, metal and concrete. It’s hard to imagine those streets empty considering how busy they are. It is cool though through out the city seeing the pieces from the towers that are now city art.

It’s simply amazing city! Could see my self living there for a while.
