Grand Central Station
Well Just got back from New York! It was the most amazing experience! Seeing all the sites you hear about all the time! Managed to cram so much into 3 days! Spent an average of 10 hours in the city each day thats with my gear and NEW TRIPOD!!!!!!
Went to B&H which is the most amazng store I have ever seen! It covers about a block in Manhatten and is two levels high. It has everything you need. The tripod section was huge! It is run by about 200 Jewish folks. The service is great and so is their system. You get like a docket of what you buying from a floor crew member then head to a area of little booths where you pay and then to a counter where you products are brought to you by little conveyer belts and elevators! It is so fast. It al happens in about 5 mins and the store is busy as hell! So I got the new tripod and head. (same as Kirks new stuff)
I won’t go talk about all the things we did cause we did a lot. But we did see some plays ans Cirque on Broadway. We saw Jersey Boys which was amaing and will be on Australias East coast soon!
Had a few photo shoots. The first was at Brooklyn Bridge but that will be posted later. Heres a shot from last night at about 11pm at Grand Central Station which also is insane! I took a few pans before the cops told me I couldn’t use a tripod with out a permit just as I was packing up anyway.
The photo seems a little tilted but I will fix the master file.
New York was amazing! I wouldn’t like to drive there though! It is a very organised city and very easy to find you way around in!
