Red Rocks

Heres a shot from the first photo shoot I went on while I was in the states. It’s back in Denver right on the edge of the Rockies. It’s called Red Rocks and has great amphitheater. It’s about a 10 minute drive from me relatives house so it was easy for me to get to.

It’s not one of my favourite shots. it also has that blown patch of clouds that were getting belted by the sun! Still not sure about it…..

Still got more photos already ready to post, but I will hold off for a day or so so ya’ll can shred me about how awe full this one is!

Happy Shooting!

  1. I like it. It’s not one of your best but I’m partial to any shot with red rocks and like this rocky Mars (with plants) landscape. The white blown area could potentially be cloned out. It’s a bit too wide for my taste, needs a bit more foreground perhaps. Very hard to make that wide a composition works as our eyes see in about 2:1 and this is almost twice that.
Btw having seen a photo of your tripod I am even more impressed with your work 🙂

Yeah there wasn’t much around for a decent foreground. Just big ass red rocks!
I might have to try cloning in some sky on the left.
What can I say Flemming….. I am simply an amazing photographer that works with a shit tripod by choice…. maybe not!

  5. Nice shoot Dylan, I also kinda like the way it is…. Experience any ghosts at Red Rock, you do know its haunted with the cries of little girls screaming.
