Rocky Mountain National Park For Spool!

This ones for Neal, as he pushed me into posting some shots.

Heres a image straight out of the camera. It is actually just the preview before the stitch in PTGui, so it’s not super clean and not sharpened or anything.

It was taken in Rocky Mountain National Park about 3 hours from Denver. I’m really happy with this photo. I was wanting to get a shot looking down the mountains with open land in front of them. This one scene also had great colours. I can’t wait to start processing my images.

I got another shot in mind that I might post later on if the blog starts to die away.

Happy Shooting!

  1. The colours (green and blue) look pretty good straight out of the camera which is a good start.
P.S. Your blog is starting to die. Post more shots!

Yeah the colours are great in this shot! Should turn out pretty nice. Probably a nice touristy type shot.

Cheers mate. Yeah it’s completely different to the coast we have. We are used to amazing beaches and here they have amazing mountains that are full of endless photo ops

  6. Looks very promising Dylan and great to get posts from you again! Watch the shift in colours in the sky though, seems a bit heavy.

Cheers Beau, I have been on your blog again lately. It’s good to see your taking photos again mate!

You might be right Flem but again this is just a low quality production.

Cheers Neal, Theres a few more places around here I really wanna shoot but it can be tough because there is almost always great clouds around here but once your in the mountains they often mean rain. Theres this really cool little hut thing anout 40 mins from here I wanna get a shot of. It would be pretty eastway cause it has a bright yellow door!
