Scott Kelby’s High Contrast B&W Conversion

Thought I would see how this shot would look in B&W, so i used the conversion used by Scott Kelby. I figured this shot might work since there wasn’t to much colour in the colour version.

Happy Shooting!

Dylan, I like this, it proves that there is still room for some black and white. I used to treat my less interesting transparency scans by converting them and seeing just what I got! Which of books is this exercise in, I’d like to give it whirl?

This is in Scott Kelbys CS3 for digital photographers book.
The book is fantastic! I only picked it up last week, but I can’t put it down!

I’ve got his 7-Point System which is tutorial based, slowly working my way through it. For photographic books check out Amazon.com, prices are good with the exchange rate at present!

Love this, so much impact. Do you use the nodal ninja for your work?
