"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." Ansel Adams

Ancient Victoria

I took this 9 image stitch at an area of paddocks covered in amazing boulders, about a 30 or 40 minute drive from Woodend (so about 2 hours from Melbourne). There is another spot right near this spot that I want to shoot next time I am there since I didn’t make it back there this time round.

I played around with this image a fair bit, aiming to get a kind of ancient look. I took a lot of the colour out, especially from the clouds. I think it looks pretty cool…

Happy Shooting!

    Hi Dylan,

I can see what you’re trying to do with this and I love the creativity, its a pretty cool image. 🙂 Any chance of posting the same image with a little less cloud blur? I would be interested to see what it looked like.

Sorry Jamie but I flattened the master image as it was over 1.5G!
I didn’t like the static clouds for this shot, I think the blur creates a good timeless effect. But that’s just what i think…
    Cheers mate
