Seabird Rock Touch Up

Heres what I think is a better edit of the previous image. I feel it looks a lot more like what I saw. The sky was a little bluer, as I gave it a warming filter. I feel I got better results having levels, brightness/contrast and curves type layers set to luminosity.

Happy Shooting

Dylan that’s much better, the sky is a little too dark for me, but a good shot just the same.

How’s the nodel ninja going, i look forward to a review of it soon, the good and the bad points.

yeah i think you might be right about the sky.
I have only used the nodal ninja once, and its no good on a cheap tripod. But it will be good on a new tripod which I am hoping to get this week, since I sold a print today.
I think I will be able to let you know more about it once back from Melb.

Congrats on the sale Dylan ,
Like this edit better , I personaly like the dark sky .
The only change i would make is to clone out that sign above the rocks on the left . When jumping between the two images felt it was a bit distracting .

Yeah Kirk I saw that after I saved it and forgot to get rid of it. There was also another sign and pole near the middle of the shot.
Yeah I have looked at lighter sky but I am not sure yet…

    Cheers mate
