Hamersley Pool Beauty!

I took this 8 image stitch this afternoon at Hamersley Pool with Olivia. It was an amazing sunset to say the least. I stacked the ND8, and the ND8 grad, which lengthened exposures which made stitching a breeze, as there were some big dumpers off shore. I would have liked to be able to add another grad filter to it as the sky was very bright.

I took this shot after the best of the light, with the ND8 and grad still on, to get a 2 or 3 min exposure time. This long exposure also brought these great magentas. It’s only the one image, but i think it still looks pretty cool.

Happy Shooting!

  1. I think the sky in the first photo looks a bit over saturated (orange parts have no detail) but that second shot is sweet! Love the pink tones and all of the crisp detail!

Also, your friend Olivia from the previous post takes some nice photos, especially for a newbie.
