"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs." Ansel Adams

PS Decoy & Perth City

Got up early this morning to get down to South Perth, to get some more city photos.

This time there was no wind at all, and the river was completely flat. This along with 30 second exposures, gave the great reflections off the water. I didn’t use any filters as the light was pretty even, cause the sun hadn’t quite made it over the scarp yet. This was a 6 image stitch. Hopefully soon i will be able to get a new tripod and tripod head.

I still haven’t printed one of my megapan images, but after seeing one of Christian Fletcher’s at 90 inches wide in his Mandurah gallery, I’m really keen to get one printed and block mounted.

This image hasn’t had the slightest bit of editing either, but these city shots aren’t so hard to get right the first time.
