Swan River Reflections
Perth’s Swan River was very calm on this particular morning and created this vibrant photograph. Now I know this photograph doesnt follow some traditional rules like the rule of thirds but have a gander at the quote sitting at the top header of this blog. Sometimes a dead center horizon just looks good and I think it does in this shot to enhance the mirroring effects of the river.

The rule of thirds just wouldn’t have worked as well on this image, you’ve done a beautiful job.

Thanks Sue-ann! I totally agree about needing to have the horizon in the middle for this one so I hope no one is to fussy about when rules
